Terms of Sale
Any purchase made or registration of personal details is deemed acceptance of these terms.
All prices are quoted in Euros. There is currently no liability for Irish VAT on our products. We will not be liable for any export or import duties, taxes etc. arising as a result of the goods being sent to a destination outside of the Irish Republic. Prices exclude delivery costs which will be added at checkout (please see Delivery Information). Payment will be debited from your account at the time of purchase, or soon thereafter. We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard and other credit and debit cards and payments are securely processed by your choice of Stripe or PayPal.
On rare occasions, order confirmation emails are misdirected as spam by incoming mail servers. Therefore, if you do not immediately receive an order confirmation email, please check your junk folder. We are of course happy to resend confirmation via a non-automated email. Please contact us via our contact form by clicking here.
We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion.
Quotations & Pricing
Quotations are given on the basis of costs at the time of issue. George Moor Design retains the right to revise their prices at any time to reflect changes in costs, such as but not limited to: goods, carriage, labour, overheads, government taxes and exchange rates.
Payment
We do not collect or store any credit card or banking details. At checkout you are given the option of paying via Stripe or PayPal. These are highly secure payment gateways that offer a wide range of payment methods such as debit card, credit card and bank transfer.
Goods will only be dispatched once payment has been received in full. Submitting an order for payment constitutes the creation of a contract of sale.
Photographs
All reasonable efforts are made to ensure each photograph accurately reflects the product being sold. On occasions, there may be minor differences between the product’s appearance in the photograph and the item delivered. This is due to the fact that each piece of wood used is individual by nature and that manufacturing changes may occur beyond our control.
Unavailable Products
If an error occurs in stock control and item is unavailable, the buyer will be notified as soon as possible and will have the option of either awaiting stock availability, selecting an alternative product or being given a full refund.
Shipping Policy
Your order is processed by George Moor Design the moment it is received and will be dispatched at the first opportunity. Prices of individual items typically do not include delivery charges, except where indicated.
We employ third-party courier services to deliver your gifts. Claims for non-delivery must be made within 20 days.
For orders being shipped outside the Republic of Ireland, George Moor Design cannot be held responsible for importation taxes/duty charges.
All address information must be accurate including the postcode where appropriate and the recipient’s telephone number. George Moor Design cannot accept responsibility for late or non-delivery if the recipient’s address and telephone details are insufficient or incorrect.
The goods shall be deemed to have been delivered when the courier obtains receipt of the goods confirmation from any person at that address. It is the customer’s duty to ensure that someone will be home to sign for the gift, which will be delivered by third party couriers. Where the courier is unable to find a person to accept delivery, a calling card will be left for the recipient to contact the courier and arrange to pick-up from the local depot or agree an alternative delivery time or alternative location at the discretion of the courier. If the recipient fails to make contact in good time, the goods are returned to George Moor Design and a new charge will need to be made for re-delivery to the original or an alternative address.
Right to cancel
You may cancel your order at any time before dispatch or within 14 days of receipt of the product via our order cancellation form found by clicking here. All cancellations, returns and refunds will be in accordance to our Returns & Refunds Policy found here.
